🇪🇸¡Sí, seguimos vivos! Nos han enterrado algunos proyectos y algunos cambios importantes, pero aquí estamos de vuelta para contaros algunos de nuestros últimos proyectos. Luthier, o Lutier en español, ha sido un proyecto enorme y muy meticuloso. Siempre lo vimos como un juegazo desde que apareció en el panorama lúdico y vimos lo que Dutrait estaba haciendo elevando el juego al máximo con su increíble arte. Ya trabajamos con @paverson en Distilled para @melmacgames, y ahora repetimos con @deviriberia en lo que es nada más y nada menos que su entrada por la puerta grande al mundo de los Kickstarters. Queríamos estar dentro de este proyecto y lo conseguimos. Documentación, localización y adaptación gráfica. Ha sido complejo, pero estamos más que orgullosos del resultado os aseguramos que va a convertirse en uno de vuestros juegos favoritos del próximo 2025.

🇬🇧 Yes, we’re alive! Some projects buried us during the last few weeks, alongside some important changes, yet we’re here to share with you some of the projects we’ve worked on lately. Luthier was a gigantic project that needed meticulous care. Since the day we saw it at the UKGE press release we thought it’d be an amazing game, and Vincent’s art wouldn’t stop to amaze us and the way the art elevated the overall game. We previously worked with @paverson in Distilled for @melmacgames, and it was now the time to do it for @deviriberia on this game, which is the first time they enter a Kickstarter co-production. We truly wanted to be part of this project and we did! The game required plenty of research, and then we localised it and adapted its graphics. It was complex, however we are extremely proud of its result and we can already feel it will become one of our favourite games in 2025.

🇪🇸 Conforme más jugamos, más trabajamos en esto y más mesas compartimos, hay un par de cosas que tenemos super, hiper, mega claras. El 80% de los juegos son dependientes del grupo, sobre todo fillers-partys que serían el 100%. Y, que al final, los juegos son productos, tan diversos como públicos y mercados. A veces no se inventa nada, pero ves el trabajo detrás de algo que brilla entre tanta vorágine de novedad. Pikit es un productazo. No inventa nada, no es un euruazo, pero por 17 euros tienes un juego de cartas rápido, para grupos, sencillo y que además incluye tu caja-tiradados, un soporte para los mazos, dados y unas cartas diferentes con ilustraciones de calidad. Es un suma puntos al final de la partida, robando y con interacción. Nada nuevo, pero producción-precio inmejorable para un juego que funciona con cualquiera.

🇬🇧The more we enjoy games, work in the industry and share fun playing with others, there are certain things we know for sure. 80% of the games are dependent on the group, especially the party and filler ones, which could be 100% actually. Games are products, and they are as diverse as the public and market. Sometimes you discover something that’s not even that innovative, but you can feel the spark of something simple amongst so many new launches. We believe Pikit is an amazing product! It’s not a eurogame, but it costs 17€ and for that price you get an easy card game perfect for groups, that includes a box you can use to roll the dice and as cards display. Mechanics-wise is simple, but the production and overall experience feels great (especially for the price).

🇪🇸 Si el 7 Wonders Duel ya nos gustaba, esta revisión del clásico también, y mucho. No vamos a entrar en los detalles de por qué Dutrait + El señor de los anillos es una mezcla ganadora, pero dudo que alguien diga que no le sienta bien al juego y que bonito es hasta doler. ¿Sabéis que podéis alinear las cartas de batalla y se forman ilustraciones panorámicas? De nada. En las partidas que hemos echado parece difícil al principio ganar con el track de anillo y fácil conquistando las regiones, pero en realidad todo depende de las estrategias de cada uno, de cómo de controlable juegues y de usar muy bien las habilidades pasivas de las razas durante la partida. Partidas no muy largas para otra maravilla, rediseñada, de juego de dual. La moda del “Duel” ha llegado para quedarse ¡Viva!

🇬🇧We already loved the original 7 Wonders Duel, but this new version is just wow. We won’t go into too much detail and why the combo of Dutrait + Lord of the Rings feels like the best thing ever, but we really doubt someone out there won’t like this version. By the way, did you know that you can organise the battle cards and they will create a panoramic illustration? You’re welcome! When you start playing it may seem it’s difficult to win with the ring track and easy via the map, but in reality it all depends on one’s strategy and how well you can use the different passive abilities. The plays are not that long, which is something we appreciate. We cannot but embrace the 2-p exclusive games trend!

🇪🇸 A veces, a vosotros también os pasa - no os hagáis los locos-, vivimos en la ola de la novedad y va todo tan rápido que no nos da tiempo a digerir la experiencia del juego. Mucho menos disfrutar o darle oportunidad a los clásicos. Pillamos Tuareg en una promo de Navidad de Devir por un precio ridículo y al jugarlo dijimos: “Joooder que guapo esto, ¿no?”. Sí, a veces hay que probar viejunadas que aunque no te entren por los ojos o su producción no sea de 3 cifras, te da un guantazo de humildad importante. Con unas cartas y poco más tiene unas mecánicas de posicionamiento y robo muy inteligentes. Para 2 jugadores, de verdad sientes el comercio, robando y pagando dátiles, sal y pimiento. La mecánica que al robar una carta de un tipo, la reemplazas por el otro tipo es genial y las acciones extras de las cartas en tu zona -Tribu- le dan el Boost perfecto. Ganas de probar la expa. ¡Maravilla!

🇬🇧Sometimes this probably happens to you - admit it - and that’s living on top of the news wave. There are always so many new games being launched that we don’t get to fully digest what the current ones have to offer. Precisely due to this we find that most times it is difficult to give old or classic games a try, what do you think? We got Turgi thanks to a promo Devir had last Christmas and it was a true bargain, and only after playing it we said to ourselves “uauuu this one’s truly amazing”. Sometimes one has to go back to the good old games even if they may not seem that attractive anymore, but it will bring your feet back on the ground. Turgi has only cards and a couple of pawns, but its positioning mechanic feels truly smart! It is exclusive for 2 players and you can feel the dates, salt and pepper trade & theft. When you draw a card of some sort, you’ll have to replace it with another one on the common area, and the additional actions of the cards on your personal area give it the perfect boost. We cannot wait to play the expansion now! Have you tried Turgi?

🇪🇸 Desde el @spiel_messe nos trajimos el Flatiron. ¿Por qué? Pues para tenerlo firmado por nuestros compis de The White Castle. Nos hacía ilu. No leímos ni vimos nada para que nos sorprendiera, solo estábamos encantados con el diseño y la estética bien ha sellado @ludonovajuegos junto al meteórico @weberson83. Sinceramente, el juego nos ha encantado. Es a 2, eso ya es un plus. El motor de cartas que te puedes ir creando te da infinitas posibilidades y tienes que ajustarlo muy bien y meter algunas acciones interesantes porque constantemente van a pisarte el color/acción que necesitas. Aprieta, pero no ahoga. Quizás la primera partida te cueste un poco, pero luego va volado y vas probando combinaciones en tus calles y pisando las acciones del contrario para que no avance más que tú. Es una interacción sin saña, pero dañina porque te pueden destrozar colocando 2 pilares y dejándote sin poder hacer una planta, y esto es gracias a lo equilibrada que está la asimetría de los tableros. De lo mejorcito del año para 2.

🇬🇧 We got Flatiron at the @spiel_messe and you may be asking, ‘but why if you’ll have it in Spanish anyways?’ Well, because we wanted to have it signed by our dearest colleagues from The White Castle, the Llama Dice. We didn’t know anything about the game prior, yet we were attracted to its visual and graphic aspects in charge of @ludonovajuegos and the greatest @weberson83. To be fair, we loved the game! It is exclusive for 2 players, which is a plus to us. The cards engine allows you to create infinite possibilities and you have to be smart and add some interesting actions because the other player will block your desired colour-action continuously. It may happen that you feel the first play as a bit too tight, but once you get to learn the rules, everything goes fast and you’re able to control your streets and get stuck on your opponent’s actions so they lose a turn until able to get to do it. It is a smooth yet spicy interaction, and that’s precisely why we like it. It’s a well balanced game that offers asymmetric boards - Flatiron may have been one of the best 2-p games we’ve tried this year. What about you? Have you tried

🇪🇸 En Hellton Palace seremos botones sirviendo a todo tipo de dioses y criaturas del inframundo en nuestro hotel. El juego es una carrera por ser el último en caer, ya que tus huéspedes te irán complicando la partida en cada ronda. En vez de ganar, tienes que intentar ser el que no pierda primero. Un arte Burtoniana de matrícula de honor y una magnífica producción por 20€.

🇬🇧 In Hellton Palace we will become bellhops that will serve all sorts of gods and creatures of the underworld of our hotel. The game is a race to be the last one to fall, as your guests will complicate your life round after round. Instead of winning, what you have to try is not being the first to lose. The art reminds us of Tim Burton, and makes the game look absolutely fantastic, at an affordable price.
